Friends of Friends Medical Support Fund

Friends of Friends serves as a community safety net, easing the burden of unexpected medical expenses.

Friends of Friends helps with:

  • Visits to health professionals: Medical, Dental, Mental Health and Vision

  • Hospitals and laboratory bills

  • Prescription or over-the-counter medications

  • Ferry tickets and gas vouchers for treatment

  • Medical supplies and equipment

Good Cheer Food Bank

Good Cheer works closely with schools, Island Senior Resources, and Readiness To Learn to ensure that all who need access to food on South Whidbey Island can get help. The Good Cheer food bank is located just north of Bayview Corner, and is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Helping Hand of South Whidbey

Helping Hand of South Whidbey is a Christian-based charity that provides immediate financial assistance when basic services of life and well-being are in danger of being discontinued. They also make referrals to local, county or state agencies for longer-term assistance.
