October Newsletter: Apple Cider Press Recap

The 2nd annual Apple Cider Press with Woodhaven and Rubatano Center marimba brought together over 300 people! The weather was sunny and warm with just a touch of rain to make it a traditional fall afternoon. The event had live marimba music provided by Rubatano, along with the sounds of apple chopping and laughter. Mother Mentors volunteer, Tasha Miller, facilitated a crafts table for kids. They made various Halloween and fall-themed crafts to take home. This event was such a fun experience for everyone who attended. The Cider Press event is an activity for our whole community, allowing the opportunity for multiple generations to come together, working in harmony.
