Holiday House: Dedicated to Betty Clark

Holiday House 2022 is proudly dedicated to remembering Betty Clark. Betty volunteered for RTL for 15 years in multiple capacities, including 8 years as a board member. Her passion for children and families was unwavering. She believed whole-heartedly in giving parents the opportunity to shop and select gifts to wrap and give to their children. Each year she donated reams of beautiful paper, dozens of bows, ties and tags and graciously provided her time to Holiday House. This year her fellow board members and many volunteers carried on the tradition of wrapping Holiday House gifts.

Each year Betty managed the Back to School supplies inventory, ensuring every child had what they needed come the first day of school. Betty loved seeing the proud smiles of youth when they had their backpacks full and ready for the first day of school. Betty’s love will always be present in our work and she will be greatly missed by all of us at RTL. You can read about Betty’s life in her obituary in the Seattle Times here:
