Families in Transition Program

Are you struggling to find permanent housing due to financial difficulties? 

The Families In Transition Program can help your child maintain their school stability and can help connect your family to resources.   If any of the following circumstances are true, your children may qualify for McKinney-Vento supports through the South Whidbey School District.

Relatives as Parents Program

Are you raising a relative’s child? 

Is the child your grandchild, niece or nephew? Would you like to join an informal group of relative caregivers who understand what you are going through? You are invited to attend a RAPP meeting once a month in the Family Resource Center. Meeting time is the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10:30 am and includes brunch We also welcome drop-ins. Foster Care Network Meeting

The Foster Care Network meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month at the SW Community Center. The meeti360-ng begins at 5 pm and includes dinner. These meetings are for foster parents to network resources in our local community. Training also available.
