Are you struggling to find permanent housing due to financial difficulties?
The Families In Transition Program can help your child maintain their school stability and can help connect your family to resources. If any of the following circumstances are true, your children may qualify for McKinney-Vento supports through the South Whidbey School District.

Relatives as Parents Program
Are you raising a relative’s child?
Is the child your grandchild, niece or nephew? Would you like to join an informal group of relative caregivers who understand what you are going through? You are invited to attend a RAPP meeting once a month in the Family Resource Center. Meeting times are the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 5:30pm (Dinner beforehand at 5:00pm) & the 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 11am (Brunch beforehand at 10:30am) We also welcome drop-ins. Parents of Children with Special Needs
This group welcomes any parent or caregiver who is raising a child with special needs.
Share life’s ups and downs in this supportive environment and make connections outside the group to continue that support. This group meets once a month in the Family Resource Center. Childcare is provided. Meets monthly on the 2nd Friday from 6:30-8:30pm. For more information and to RSVP for childcare please call the number below.
